1. Introduction

As part of our commitments, this document outlines our responsibility towards the protection of cardholder data that we handle.

In line with PCI DSS Requirement, Smart Systems EU hereby acknowledges the following:(a) Data Security Commitment: We are wholly responsible for the security of cardholder data that we possess, store, process, or transmit on behalf of our customers. We recognize that this responsibility is both a trust given to us by our customers and a requirement by the PCI DSS.(b) Customer Environment Impact: We acknowledge that our actions, systems, products, and services could impact the security of our customers' cardholder data environment. As such, we commit to taking every necessary step to ensure that our operations do not compromise our customers' data security.

3. Measures Taken

To uphold these commitments, Smart Systems EU has:
(a) Adopted Secure Practices: Implemented rigorous security measures aligning with the PCI DSS to protect cardholder data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
(b) Regular Audits & Reviews: Undertaken periodic audits, assessments, and reviews to ensure our systems, processes, and practices remain compliant with the PCI DSS and other relevant security standards.
(c) Training & Awareness: Ensured that our team is aware of the significance of cardholder data security and is trained regularly on the best practices and measures to ensure data security.
(d) Incident Response Plan: Established an incident response plan to promptly address any potential breaches or security incidents, ensuring quick containment and resolution, minimizing potential impacts.
